Olena Pyanov, the head rescuer and co-founder of the animal rescue organization Love Furry Friends, wasted no time when she learned that a puppy had been discovered in the midst of the remains of an old house. She hurried to the property after deciding to help change the puppy’s life.
The yard had a fence surrounding it, and the rescuer could not imagine how the dog got inside. She circled the residence until she noticed a small opening in the rear fence. She understood this was how the puppy entered the courtyard.
Olena knew it would be quite difficult to find the puppy because the house was large and separated into various rooms. But that was not enough cause for her to back out so she proceeded to search every inch of the entire house until she found the animal.
The puppy slept on some trash in one of the rooms. She was calm until she discovered that a human was around. She was so afraid that she attempted to flee and escape. But when she realized there was no escape, she retreated to a corner and attempted to bury her face in the wall.
Olena attempted to gain the puppy’s trust by opening a can of puppy food. However, the puppy’s worries outweighed its hunger. It refused to connect with the rescuer and did not even glance in her direction.
Olena persisted and eventually succeeded in placing the dog in a travel crate. Finally, it was secured, so she carried it to her car, took it to the veterinarian, and gave it the name Masha.
Masha’s background was unknown, but it must have been awful for her to be so terrified. However, with the assistance of Olena and an animal behavior specialist, she gradually overcame her issues. She worked diligently for several months before she felt ready to face the world.
Masha now spends her time today making up for all the puppyhood days she lost. She engages in play, meets new friends, and embarks on adventures whenever she can. She has a wonderful life with Olena, but she stays hopeful that she will find her forever home one day.
